with love & such...

I am a twenty-something optimistic, hopeless romantic who's a tad bit cynical and a little overly sentimental. Yes, you can be all of those things at once. I'm a mess. But I've got a heart of gold that I wear on my sleeve. Only half of the people I let into my life take advantage of that fact and whelp, that's not half bad.

I've learned a lot over the past two years, all of which has forced me to grow up. Sorta. I couldn't be more grateful for it all (now). I'm not good at summing myself up in a paragraph. I'd rather do it with wine. Lots of wine.

I have no idea what my natural hair color is. I like to eat cereal, but only at night. I love to make lists. I have a notebook full of them I carry in my purse. Even more than making them I love scratching things off of them. I'd rather watch movies then any sitcom. After a while I always crave some time by myself. It's nothing personal, I just need it. I make my bed every morning - right after I get out of the shower. I'm a sucker for a guy who can make me laugh. And "bad boys" but I'm working on that one. I love greasy "bar food" more than real meals. And beer. There's nothing I love more than an all-night dance party. To this day I miss the house I grew up in. If it went on the market today, I'd buy it (somehow). Seriously, I know the owners! I still check books out of the library. A lot. I rode horses in shows when I was little. My parents live on a farm with 5 horses...now we ride for fun. I'm terrified of, but still love riding on the back of street bikes. The only sports I really enjoy watching are full-contact. Football, boxing & UFC fighting. ABC Family might be my favorite station on TV. I don't have a favorite color or flower. I love home-made iced tea and am pretty damn good at making it. If I drink it at night it keeps me up though. Yet I refuse to by decaf. I do most of my thinking in the shower or in the car and when I'm upset I immediately do one of those two things. I laugh in my sleep sometimes and usually wake myself up. I love brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts. Poison by Bell Biv Devoe and It Takes Two by Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock are easily two of my favorite songs. I have a playlist on my iPod for EVERY mood. Kraft Mac and Cheese is my favorite go-to lazy dinner. I have two boys at home - a shar-pei and a crazy ass cat. I love chilling in with them. I met Heath Ledger at a club in Hollywood in 2001 and am so glad I made a fool out of myself to get a picture with him. Priceless.
